Vertex Dining Table — Stone and Walnut in Architectural Dialogue
Vertex Dining Table — Stone and Walnut in Architectural Dialogue
A rectangular dining table in which two refined materials meet in a clear, almost architectural conversation. The sintered stone top, with its pale, marble-like figuring, rests on a trapezoidal monolithic base in walnut — the contrast between the warm, richly grained brown and the cool, luminous surface of the stone creates a piece with a strong yet beautifully balanced presence. The gently rounded edges of the top and the softly chamfered sides of the base ease the geometry, allowing the table to be present without dominating. Each piece is entirely handcrafted: the stone top is cut and polished to precise dimensions, the base built from walnut-veneered panels selected for the rhythm of their grain, and the final finish applied layer by layer. The table belongs in dining rooms shaped by contemporary, mid-century, and japandi aesthetics, as well as within interiors built around the quiet luxury of materials. A grounding piece — the kind around which an entire interior can be built.
